On June the 10th rooms 1,2,4,7 and 9 went on a marae trip at the Waikato university.
We got there by bus. We where singing some maroi songs on the way.It was really cool when we sung songs we had't sung in a long time.
When we got to the mare we where welcomed with a powhiri. We had to walk slow when we where welcomed. When they had finished welcoming us we went in the marae but before we could go in the marae we had to take off our shoes when I got in the marae I was amazed what was in the marae there was really cool patterns.
