In room7 we have been learning about lots of different celebrations. But my most favourite celebration of all was Carnival. Carnival is a celebration mostly celebrated in Europe. The country that celebrates it the most is Rio in Brazil. They celebrate it with parades, silly costumes, parties.

Fractions
Jack had 24 apples. He gave 1/6 of these to mike. How many did mike get?
Ariana's thinking....
1/6 of 24=4 so mike got 4 apples.

Long Jump
This is a video of my long jump. I can use my arms to jump high and I can take off on one foot and land on two feet. Now I just have to keep on doing my long jump skills correctly.

Spotlight on the Arts
On the second Wednesday of November Vardon School held a spotlight on the arts evening. I was part of the Jump Jam and the choir group. It was really fun! First I had choir. Then I had to race back to the jump jam changing room and Emerson, Ella and I go dressed in no time. The night was really fun and I wish that Vardon could hold a spotlight on the arts again!

Teaches
My favourite teacher is Mrs Natusch because she helps us learn in fun ways and I learn so much! Mrs Natusch always makes things challenging so we ether find new ways to solve problems or just trying to make us use our brain. We also have a student teacher called Miss Joyes. Her job is if Mrs N is not able to teach us she'll just keep going until Mrs N is free But the best thing about having Miss Joyes around is because shes going to be here until the end of term which is seven and a half weeks! YAY! I can't wait for her to teach me something new.
